Stake Has Done 1.5 Billion in Real Estate Transactions, Tokenisation Is the Next Chapter

Manar Mahmassani, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Stake, joins Karl Naim at the ADX as the fractional real estate investment platform, regulated by the FSRA in Dubai and the CMA in Saudi Arabia, crosses 600 properties under management and 1.5 billion dirhams in total transactions, and turns its attention to blockchain.

His founding story is built around two personal experiences: watching his childhood best friend sell off-plan properties to investors who would wait four years to see a return, and his own painful experience of holding a property for 15 years through the global financial crisis, selling at the same price he bought but losing 50% of his money after mortgage interest. Stake was built to solve both problems, returns from day one, from as little as 500 dirhams.

On what comes next, his answer is clear: the transition to the blockchain. With 600 properties under management and 1.5 billion in transactions behind them, the platform is ready for its next chapter.
