Tokenized Equities Could Transform Global Markets

Securitize is reporting its first earnings quarter as a publicly listed company, as institutional demand for tokenized assets continues to accelerate. In this interview, Carlos Domingo, Co-Founder and CEO of Securitize, discusses the company’s latest results, including $4.3 billion in tokenized assets under management, $14.4 million in second-quarter revenue, and a 149% increase in aggregate transaction volume. Securitize began trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker SECZ in July 2026.

Domingo explains why tokenization is increasingly moving beyond the crypto ecosystem and into traditional finance, with major asset managers and banks exploring blockchain-based infrastructure. Securitize is particularly focused on yield-bearing assets such as tokenized Treasuries, bonds and credit, while tokenized equities and ETFs represent a potentially enormous opportunity as public-market assets begin moving on-chain.

The conversation also explores Securitize’s partnership with BlackRock, the growing institutional adoption of tokenized securities, and the decision to tokenize Securitize’s own public stock on the same day it began trading on the NYSE. Domingo explains why bringing real, issuer-sponsored securities on-chain could help create a more efficient, global and always-on capital market.
