Bryan Courchesne: Waiting Until October to Buy Bitcoin Could Be a Mistake

Bitcoin is stuck in a tight range around $64,000 as investors weigh a potential turning point in the current bear market. With Bitcoin trading between roughly $62,000 and $66,000, ongoing security breaches, crypto heists and delays surrounding the CLARITY Act are adding to market uncertainty. But with the four-year cycle approaching its historical 12-month bear-market average, some investors are looking toward October as a potential bottom.

Bryan Courchesne, Founder of DAiM, argues that waiting until October to buy Bitcoin could be a mistake. Courchesne says the crypto market has matured since 2022, while institutional investors are increasingly studying Bitcoin’s historical cycles and technical signals. If Bitcoin eventually reaches his projected $290,000–$300,000 range over the next 3.5 years, he believes investors may be better positioned by getting exposure before the market begins a major move rather than chasing prices at $90,000 or $100,000.

Courchesne also explains why he currently sees Bitcoin as a more compelling long-term opportunity than SpaceX, comparing their valuations with gold and highlighting Bitcoin’s potential to grow into a multi-trillion-dollar asset. He also shares his outlook for the next cycle bottom, suggesting it could be a “no-event bottom” where Bitcoin simply grinds higher rather than experiencing another dramatic capitulation.
