Benchmark Raises Its Outlook to Exceed $3 Billion After Record Revenue

Benchmark rang the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange after reporting record revenue and raising its full year outlook. On Taking Stock, JD Durkin speaks with David Moezidis, president and CEO of Benchmark, about the experience of ringing the bell and what is driving the company’s growth. Moezidis says he was proud to represent the company’s 12,000 team members around the world.

Moezidis describes Benchmark as a company that partners with leading technology firms to design and manufacture products across medical, aerospace, defense, semiconductor, capital equipment, industrial, and advanced compute and communications markets, often in highly regulated industries. He says the company reported record revenue of $811 million last week, with non-GAAP earnings per share of $0.84, up 35%. He says broad based strength gave the company the confidence to raise its full year guidance and commit to exceeding $3 billion in revenue. Durkin notes that computing and communications grew 50% and semiconductor equipment grew 30%.

Moezidis credits the results to winning in the marketplace, a go to market strategy the company set out on about three years ago, and teams converting bookings into revenue. Asked how Benchmark competes with much larger players, he says being smaller allows the company to move with agility and that customers come to Benchmark for outcomes.
