OKX and ICE Are Rewiring Global Financial Markets

Wall Street is moving deeper into the world of blockchain as major financial institutions look to bring traditional markets on chain. The partnership between Intercontinental Exchange and OKX is focused on building new infrastructure for futures products and tokenized equities, potentially opening the door to 24/7 access to financial markets.

Roshan Robert, U.S. CEO of OKX, says the partnership represents a convergence between traditional finance and crypto. While traditional financial institutions bring regulatory controls and governance, crypto brings blockchain infrastructure and faster innovation. Together, these technologies could help create the infrastructure needed for the next generation of financial products.

Robert also discusses the growing momentum behind tokenization and real world assets, as well as the impact of crypto legislation, Bitcoin price action, interest rates and geopolitical uncertainty. Looking ahead, he expects blockchain marketplaces to support significantly more real world assets and greater participation from both retail and institutional investors.
