We are live here from Money 2020 Europe in Amsterdam.
It is the last day of the show.
My name is Tina Loncaric, the Global Director of Public Relations at Money20/20.
I am here with wonderful Bryony Naylor, VP Europe for Money20/20.
She runs the show.
We have so many things we've seen here throughout these three days.
Obviously there are different trends we're noticing on the floor.
Much like in Asia, we see AI and stablecoin everywhere.
But Brioni, what else have we seen here throughout these three days?
I think I mean we've seen some amazing speakers.
You know, you mentioned stablecoin.
We had Arjan Sefi from, uh, Kraken speaking.
We, but also we had the people like Seb from Clana, um, you know, it is not just about AI and, uh, stablecoins, although you wouldn't be, you'd be forgiven for, uh, uh, thinking that it was about that.
I, you know, I think we also see fraud coming up a lot on the, on the show floor.
And, and I think, you know, we had an announcement yesterday from the EPI around European sovereignty, um, you know, and, and, and that's obviously a massive topic at the moment, especially, um, you know, in Europe, especially.
So, um, yeah, it's been been a busy few days.
Yes, we have had many great announcements.
We had one big announcement from MoneyGram.
At the opening, MoneyGram and M0 announcing a stablecoin enablement, incredible news stories.
Also, we are here for the 10th year.
We are celebrating the 10th anniversary of Money 2020.
Brioni, you have been part of this journey.
You've seen the brand grow.
You're seeing it scale.
What is the success here?
What is the key success?
What is the secret sauce of the success that we're seeing here in Amsterdam?
Yeah, I mean, I think, look, you know, it's all about the ecosystem.
It is all about bringing together the entire financial services, uh, um, everyone who plays in that, in that space, bringing them together.
And I think, you know, we.
Spend so much time curating the agenda, the, the show floor, the experience of our, of our delegates, you know, and, and ultimately it's about ROI, you know, we want to make sure that everyone that is here, um, you know, really gets a lot of value from, from the show, whether they're attending just for content or they're attending to make new partnerships or meet existing partners.
So I think.
We really think about that a lot and we really think about how we curate that, that audience, um, and, and I think the best bit about the last three days has been seeing it all come to life and seeing those serendipitous conversations happen, you know, in the corridors over a coffee, um, so.
It's been a good few days and there is so much going on here.
We had a bustling startup hub throughout these three days.
We have launched the intersection here in Europe, our intersection stage has been packed all about digital assets, tokenization, stablecoin, but what are you most proud of, Brioni?
I think I'm, I, I, I'm proud of what we've been able to achieve.
Uh, I think, you know, I, I, I was on, I was in the startup media session yesterday with Serene and, uh, um, you know, Peter, who won the startup competition.
Intelligence Peter.
Griffin, big congratulations.
Amazing, and it was just so, I, I think he had a megawatt smile.
I don't think he started smiling throughout the whole session, but it was also just amazing like hearing about all these, you know, new companies and, and, and what they're, what the, the problems that they're trying to solve, and, and I think, you know, the, the, the pride comes from them being able to show up and them being able to tell their story and, and, and, and get value from, from the show.
So in 12 months we'll be back here again.
It's hard to imagine as we are finishing up the show just in a couple of hours, is there anything that you can share what could happen next year, any insight, anything at all that you can share with our audience?
I think I mean we're obviously going to be in Amsterdam.
And next year we are, we are signed to be in Amsterdam, you know, at least until 2030, you know, and, and Amsterdam is very much the, the, the, the home for us, for Europe.
Um, I think the thing that I'm really excited about is, uh, the possibility with, um, working in a closer collaboration with the Dutch government, um.
You know, we did, we hosted an event with them on Monday, uh, at the Dutch Central Bank, um, with the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency, uh, the Dutch Central Bank, uh, Tech Leap, and, um, the Ministry of Finance, and I think it's really exciting doing things like that and seeing what the opportunities are for next year.
So I'm, I'm looking forward to seeing where we can.
Take that partnership and you know really put our stamp on being in the Netherlands and in Amsterdam.
That was a very important event for for for the region too, I think.
So fantastic overview, Brian Naylor, VP of Monday 2020 Europe.
Thank you so much.
We cannot wait for next year.
Thank you for having me, Tina.
Thank you.
