How Firy Plans to More Than Double Revenue by 2028

Firy is entering a new chapter as the company formerly known as Skillz transforms into a broader technology portfolio serving game developers. Andrew Paradise, CEO of Firy, joins JD Durkin to discuss the rebrand, the company’s plans to eliminate its remaining debt and the growth opportunities across its businesses.

Paradise says Firy plans to retire the rest of its debt following the $55 million sale of its stake in Exit Games. He also says the company projects modest positive operating cash flow in 2027 and believes revenue will more than double from 2025 to 2028. Meanwhile, Aarki recorded its first $10 million revenue quarter as the advertising technology business expands within gaming and into new markets.

Paradise also discusses the approximately $730 million judgment awarded to Skillz in its case against Papaya Gaming and the ongoing effort to recover those funds. He cautions that there is no assurance on the ultimate recovery as the company challenges Papaya’s position following bankruptcy filings in Israel and Delaware.
