Joining me is Brian Foote, CRO and Board Member of Fintech Media Group. He was previously CEO of Tap, which has been acquired by Fintech Media Group. Brian, thank you so much for joining us.
Thanks so much for having me. We are here as a representative of Fintech Media Group in the region. We recently exited Tap to Fintech Media Group. Our goal with that was to take our 24/7 terminal and start to transpose content — starting in the morning with the Middle East all the way through to New York and Chicago in the US — so that we could have a 24/7 content feed in that terminal, alongside our brokerage and strategy accounts, and start to make further inroads here in the region.
How does the Fintech Media Group model work and what does it actually offer investors beyond information?
Broadcast used to mean you create content and transpose it through traditional or non-traditional means. What we saw was an opportunity to take really high quality broadcasting from the world's leading stock exchanges, tuck that into a 24/7 terminal customized by region — both in terms of content and distribution — and package it all the way from broadcast to brokerage so that people could move from information to action immediately on one platform. We are partnered with the iconic New York Stock Exchange, CBOE in Chicago, and now ADX and Dubai here on CityWalk. We are connecting these primary global economic markets through our technology stack and media distribution channels.

We view the environment of trading and investing in three key buckets — retail investors, pro traders, and institutional. Bloomberg has taken the institutional market with a $2,000 to $3,000 per seat terminal. Where we are different is going out to retail audiences and taking sophisticated information in real time, putting it into a terminal that is very price accessible — so they can move from broadcast to brokerage immediately. We are partnered with Alpaca, taking stocks, digital assets, and options and putting them into a singular API feed for our terminal. A user can now open a Tap brokerage account powered by Alpaca and choose immediately from over 50 different multi-asset strategies — sector based, thematic, or target date. We are among the first in the world to not only take world-class content from stock exchanges but make it immediately transposable to the user so they can move into action — rather than using three to five to seven different platforms as is the par for the course today.
What is your take on the region here in Abu Dhabi?
We love the region. There is so much opportunity here. We were at Money 20/20 in Saudi two weeks ago, which was wonderful, and came here to Abu Dhabi to continue the momentum. The region is primed for growth. The more that media companies and execution companies like ours can quickly bridge the gap from our markets to theirs, the faster we will move together — both in global cooperation and in returns for investors. One of the hot topics for finance going into 2027 will be companies like ours bridging the gap between Wall Street and Mena and further into northern and sub-Saharan Africa.
Thank you very much for joining us.
Likewise. Thanks for your wonderful representation of the company here at the platform.
