Trump Media Takes Another Step Toward TAE Technologies Merger

Trump Media is moving closer to its planned merger with California based TAE Technologies as it looks to enter the fusion energy business. Johny Fernandez reports from the FINTECH.TV studio at the New York Stock Exchange on the latest step in the proposed all stock deal.

Trump Media has filed paperwork with the SEC for the merger, which would leave shareholders of each company owning about half of the combined business. The combined company would be one of the world’s first publicly traded companies developing fusion energy for commercial use.

TAE Technologies has spent nearly 30 years developing its technology and is bringing it to market across fusion, energy and power management for applications including AI and cancer treatment. Trump Media would provide funding to support TAE’s fusion work, while the deal still requires shareholder and regulatory approval.
