droppRWA’s Co-Founder Is Tokenising Coffee, Gold, and Insurance

Faisal Al-Monai, Co-Founder and CEO of droppRWA, joins Raghda Ibraheem at Money 20/20 Middle East in Riyadh as the company’s tokenisation mandates pass $12 billion, and reveals that the next asset classes being tokenised are agriculture, gold, precious metals, and insurance-linked securities.

His most striking announcement: droppRWA has signed an agreement with a major law firm working with top reinsurance companies in Bermuda to structure a tokenisation of insurance-linked securities, allowing investors to buy tokens into insurance policies. The regulator in Bermuda is involved. The scope of tokenisation, he argues, is going viral.

On Saudi Arabia becoming the model that other G20 countries copy, his confidence has grown since the last time he appeared on the show: tokenisation is now moving toward mainstream FDI. The capital buying tokenised assets moves faster than regular capital. And by early next year, he expects Saudi tokenisation to go from pilot to transactional, as regulations finalise and the assets already in the pipeline go live.
