How Ingram Micro Is Positioning Itself for the AI Era

Ingram Micro is expanding its role at the center of the global technology ecosystem as the company advances its platform strategy and looks to capitalize on the continued evolution of artificial intelligence. Michael Zilis, EVP and CFO of Ingram Micro, joins JD Durkin from NYSE Texas to discuss the company’s strategy, Capital Markets Day and growing focus on AI.

Zilis explains how Ingram Micro has evolved from its distribution roots into a technology platform company connecting more than 1,500 vendors with more than 165,000 customers. During its Capital Markets Day, the company is outlining its strategy and sharing three year financial outlooks covering the 2027 through 2029 period.

Artificial intelligence is also becoming an increasingly important part of Ingram Micro’s business. Zilis says the company’s proprietary platform incorporates more than 400 machine learning models, while Ingram Micro is also participating in data center buildout and helping small and medium sized businesses understand and adopt AI through its Enable AI program.
