As of August 3, Plus Therapeutics has officially rebranded as Cerranome, marking a major evolution from a single-therapy biotech into an integrated CNS oncology company focused on cancers of the brain and central nervous system.
Cerranome brings three key platforms together: CNSide, its commercially available and reimbursed cerebrospinal fluid diagnostic platform; Ropidoxuridine, its lead investigational radiotherapy being evaluated in clinical trials; and a proprietary data and AI platform designed to turn complex clinical and diagnostic data into actionable insights for precision oncology.
The company’s therapeutic programs are focused on challenging CNS cancers, including glioblastoma, leptomeningeal metastases and pediatric brain cancer. Alongside the rebrand, the company now trades under the ticker CNSY, with no action required from existing shareholders. Cerranome says the new identity reflects its broader vision: bringing therapeutics, diagnostics and AI together to tackle CNS cancer as a unified systems problem.
